Wasabi Japanese Restaurant in Madison

We got a badger roll and it was absolutely delicious! Even the side of fried rice we ordered was fresh and tasty. We had a really nice server and I would totally go back!

I go with my wife to this place a lot! This is my favorite place to dine. I visit this place regularly. The food is very good, the workers are welcoming and the prices are fair. I enjoy being in this restaurant over a decent lunch.

Got it for carryout during the quarantine, it was very good.

At the first moment you step in this restaurant team give you an agreeable feeling. Very comfortable waiters, it is a friendly place to pass time with friends and colleagues or with your date. heavenly meals, talented chef, good cost and excellent service. Highly recommended.

The roll one with eel is my favorite!

The fish in the nigiri tasted old and was low in flavor, and the tuna roll was very small. Chicken/beef teriyaki was bland, the veggies tasted like they were from a pre-made freezer bag, and the rice was slightly over-done. Miso soup was fine. Overall, the price would have been high for the portions, even if the quality was better. One caveat is that I got my order to-go, but I can’t imagine that it would be significantly better in the restaurant. Would not recommend.

The food was ok, but I was already done with my noodles and my friend still did not get his order.

I took a girl on a date here. We're no longer seeing each other. Food was good tho.

Very nice sushi place. Futomaki sushi, many kinds of rolls, Nabeyaki udon and Tempura udon were very good. Hibachi steak was also very nice. Not very expensive but nice restaurant.

Very satisfied! The best salmon roe sushi I've ever had!! The roes were very fresh so it made me feel happy.Other sushi were delicious, too. The atmosphere was good and it was pretty clean. I strongly recommend the salmon roe sushi!!

This place is worth visiting. They have big portions for convenient rates. Constantly well organized and with good ambience. Will come visit again.

Hard to find since they're newish, but well worth the Trek upstairs to where they are. A simple sushi shop with your standard fare, and some very tasty special and house rolls. Try the puppy love roll if you're in there, it will not disappoint. Service was prompt, and rolls were brought out as completed, as opposed to building a single large plate. I look forward to visiting again next time I'm out.

Ordered chicken teriyaki and got beef and shrimp veggies delivery instead. Called in to let them know and she asked if I was okay with eating this? What?!

This place is huge, has decent food,and staff are friendly. Will come back cause it's so conveniently located

Sushi was okay. Would not recommend Hibachi. Steak was horribly chewy and meal overall was not great - just average vegetables and rice.

Food is really good and have never had a bad meal. Service is poor. We arrived at the restaurant with only three tables filled. Ordered only sushi. It took 45 minutes to be served. Need more staff!

The worst I have ever had! There was no flavor to anything the miso was plain nothing in it no taste what so ever. Sushi looked suspect hope I don't get sick. None of the sides I asked for want my $$ back

I ordered delivery and found the fish to be very fresh. However, I was very disappointed with the sashimi. $8 for a single bite of toro? No thanks. One small, thin slice of fish per sashimi order is almost thievery.

I sent my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is delicious and the stuff is efficient and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we enjoy a cheerful time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

I've been to this place a couple of times, and I do enjoy it. The place has good service and the servers are nice. I enjoy the sushi there, but sometimes it takes a long time to prepare so it isn't worth it to order it, but they told us the wait so we knew. The miso soup there is very tasty. All the food I have had there I have had no complaints about. They also have a decent drink menu too. It is a little more expensive than I'd like given the portion size, but overall it is a yummy place and one of the best you can find in Madison.

Very nice restaurant that's perfect for a date. Sushi is good and service is prompt and welcoming. I would recommend Yume Sushi to any lover of fine dining and sushi.

I got delivery from here one lazy night and it was surprisingly good. You never know with delivery sushi. I was pleasantly surprised. Good quality.

Service was good. I would give sushi a 3.5. It was fresh but after living in Japan nothing can compare. Hibachi with steak was good but rice under cooked. Portions were good Quiet atmosphere. Good experience.

Sushi was delicious had the spider roll and double trouble. The calamari appetizer was also delicious the sauce that came with it was fantastic.

Yesterday was the first time we came to that excellent restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the exceptional cooking and wine and with the decent charge. We will surely return there again.
